My Second Game
Greetings dear people I'm happy to announce my second published Unity game!
It is a WebGL pachinko-type game played in a browser.
It took me nine months with two big pauses to get here. My original target with this game is mobile platforms but I have decided to first go for webGL to get some feedback and to spread the word about the game :D
The mobile version will have a few more features in the game.
Tower Barrage is now my second game because when I was learning saving/loading mechanics that project ended up being a finished small game Winter Fall.
The design of the Tower Barrage was also very simple just like Winter Fall.
On paper, there are many features that are not in the game. I was throwing a bunch of ideas and trying to get a feeling of the gameplay.
Some features from the original paper plan are not in the game. The reason for this is that some features can break gameplay. Others I just don't know how to implement. And there is always a time factor. Some things just take too long to add and polish. The goal is to stop adding features and try to polish as many things that I can think of.
Just like my last game Winter Fall I bought assets from the asset store. Item packs, sprites, images, effects, music, and sound effects.
Still, I was recording myself for specific sounds. For example, the sound effects when hitting the thief, when the wheelbarrow is stolen, or laughing pig friend when poking.
The most satisfying feeling is to actually get to the finish line. I'm glad that the WebGL version of the game is done :D
